Full-Time Flight Instructors

Ocean Aviation seeks multiple full-time flight instructors for a very busy FAA Part 141 flight school. Great friendly environment. If your goals are to eventually move up to an airline career, we are the right choice. Partnerships with multiple airlines ensures job placement when you reach your ATP requirements. Our instructors average over 60 hours per month of flight instruction given. You will not find a better school to hone your skills. New instructors welcome. Our owner and chief flight instructor has more than 30 years of instruction given and will provide the guidance to assure your success.

Minimum Requirements; Applicants must be current, must have a commercial pilots license and have a current Certified Flight Instructor certificate. We need people ready to go to work. Instrument Instructor certificate and MEI helpful but not mandatory. Experience in FAA Part 141 flight schools desired but will train if you do not have FAA Part 141 experience.

Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour.

Admin Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Entry Level Administrative Assistant. Bookkeeper

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team at Ocean Aviation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring fiscal compliance, and supporting the operational efficiency of our academy. This position offers a negotiable salary and requires the flexibility to travel between our West Ocean City and Georgetown, Delaware locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Management: Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records
  2. Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines.
  3. Invoicing and Payments: Prepare and issue invoices to clients, track payments, and manage overdue accounts with professionalism and tact.
  4. Payroll Processing: Facilitate accurate and timely payroll processing, including deductions, tax calculations, and employee reimbursements.
  5. Budget Oversight: Collaborate with management to create and monitor budgets, offering insights to optimize financial operations.


Student Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Student Coordinator to join Ocean Aviation Flight Academy. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving student recruitment, managing enrollment processes, and ensuring seamless student progress through their courses. A background in education, such as former teamer or guidance counselors is advantageous for this role. A background in sales would also be beneficial. This position offers a negotiable salary. Additionally, the candidate should be open to travel between our West Ocean City and Georgetown, Delaware locations as required.

  1. Student Recruitment: Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract prospective students, including attending recruitment events, and collaborating with educational institutions.
  2. Enrollment Management: Guide students through the enrollment process, providing them with accurate information about courses, requirements, and financial aspects.
  3. Student Progress Tracking: Monitor and track student progress throughout their courses, ensuring they meet academic milestones and addressing any challenges they may encounter.

Aircraft Mechanic

Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at Ocean Aviation to ensure our fleets’ safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing maintenance checks, troubleshooting malfunctions, inspections, and repairs as well as organizing equipment and supplies. This requires the candidate to have their Aircraft and Power Plant Certification (A&P). Having an Inspection Authorization (IA) Certification is preferred.
